As a third generation dentist, Dr. Edmund Thomas Jr. has a calming and caring approach to serving patients. His reassuring demeanor helps patients relax and enjoy their visit. Dr. Thomas received his Bachelor’s Degree in History from The University at Buffalo, in Buffalo, NY. He subsequently earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Thomas completed his residency at Faxton—St. Luke’s Hospital in Utica, NY.
In his free time, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife, reading, working on his yard, attending sporting events, and serving at his local congregation.

Raised just five minutes from Eastlight Dental, Dr. Sherise Thomas loves serving her hometown. In pursuit of higher education, she left home to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Howard University in Washington, DC followed by her Master’s in Biology from Georgia State University. Dr. Thomas then went on to achieve her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Upon finishing her doctoral studies, she completed a 1-year residency at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Beyond serving patients, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking southern cuisine, traveling, hiking, and playing tennis.
